(More customer reviews)The crossed straps at the bottom of this computer sleeve are remarkably strong. You can't store small things in this because it isn't a bag, but it stands up on its own, even when empty, and can be used to put files in as well. Think of its uses when you need to carry a computer and some files to a meeting or on an airplane and you get an idea of how handy it really can be.
Victorinox also sells a sturdy padded strap that goes with this to convert it into sort of a messenger bag in a snap. The sleeve itself is padded heavily enough to alleviate worries about safe transport of your laptop.

SOLO 15.4-Inch Vinyl Laptop Tote (Black/Blue) Review

(More customer reviews)I bought this bag to take on a trip with me. It held my laptop, about 3 TV on DVD cases, a few magazines, my cell phone, my ipod, plane tickets... LOTS of stuff. It kept it all nicely organized.
I use it to bring stuff to work when I'm not traveling. I can fit a thermos, breakfast and lunch in there with no problem, along with whatever else I need to bring with me!
In my opinion it looks nice, too. The straps aren't uncomfortable, although if you're standing in the security lines at an airport for a long time, it does get a little heavy.
It's held up well to moderate use.

LP450 Laptop Pillow Case Blk Fits Most Notebk Up To 15IN Review

(More customer reviews)Constructed with a nylon shell, this case is durable. The strap has a pad consisting of the same memory foam that encases your notebook for comfort. Carrying the case is comfortable using the strap or handles. This is a top loading carrying case which is easy to get the notebook in and out easily. The carry strap is on the top of the case and bridges across both 'leaves' of the case to distribute the weight.
The compartments in the front are 'tight' meaning that not much can be placed into them - being composed of nylon, there is no elasticity. A full length divider on the exterior can hold a small file folder or a thin magazine. Space for a spare battery AND a plug would be pushing it to capacity. I don't use an external mouse but it would be uncomfortable for the 'little critter'.
A keyring is present for your keys. Note this case is for a minimalist looking to go light - not carry everything in his or her office.
The foam is soft and will reduce the shocks of daily use. The construction of the zippers is solid - as is the carrying strap.
The design comes in a black and charcoal color scheme - sorry, no other colors exist.
It accomodates up to a 15 inch notebook but my notebook is a 14.1" widescreen which fits well and there is some room to spare.
Overall, I am happy with this case which is lightweight and is a refreshing change from the heavier leather bags and notebook backpacks that are on the market.

Mobile Edge MESFMB ScanFast Messenger Bag (Black) Review

(More customer reviews)I purchased this bag about six weeks ago. I thought since I travel every week, it would be a time and hassle saver going through security. It does, indeed, live up to their promise in that aspect.
A few weeks after I purchased it, one of the seams started to rip open. I was shocked, being that it was only 2 weeks old. Fortunely I was in Anaheim, CA on business and I went to the factory, direct. They were very nice and gave me a replacement bag. Again, a nice endorsement for the product.
The only issue is this; The latch points for the shoulder strap are a faulty design. If the strap gets twisted, and it does often during travel, the latch pops open and the bag goes crashing to the floor with all of your items, including your laptop, inside. This has happened three times in the last few weeks. My laptop was cosmetically damaged, but is still functional.
I have recently written to the company to see if there is a solution. If they come up with an acceptable fix, i would no doubt give this product a glowing 5 star review.
I guess we will see.

The confusing part is that label says for up to 15" laptops, but my 17" Dell laptop fits just right in and it seems to feel nicely while on the back. The padding adds a lot of comfort too. Very NICE looking, has lots of features that add on value. For example, the pocket for IPod or phone or whatever you prefer to listen to has a convenient slide-through pocket which allows you to nicely organize your earphone cables. Overall I'm pleased with the quality and look of this backpack and definitelly recommend it to anyone looking.

The interior has 4 slit pockets and one zipper pocket on the part that houses the laptop. I have a 15.6" laptop and it fits snuggly in the 16" compartment... not too snug where you can't get it out. The padding of the bag is great too. There is enough room, even with the laptop and interior pockets containing items to house a 1-inch binder!! The outside has a Velcro pocket on the back and two pockets on the front: one that is Velcro and big enough to store your mouse and the second that will hold the power cords. (More customer reviews)Overall I like this bag. It runs approx. 15" x 10" x 5". I can put my 13.3" laptop in its sleeve, place it in here and have room to spare. It's also a very nice looking bag.
I don't like the fact that there are no small compartments for keys, wallet, etc. I'd like to have an inside zippered pocket for stuff like that, and will probably sew one in rather than return the bag.
I also am curious to see how the straps will hold up. They seem a tad lightweight for this size of bag (3/4" wide). Time will tell. If they fail, I'll be sure to note that here in the future.Also of note, if you order directly from World Of Bags, shipping is free. If you order through Amazon, it's over $20! :-O Back a few months later. The straps do not hold up well. Threads started to separate after a month of use. Also, having no inner pockets or other built-in storage became quite annoying. I'd change the star rating to a 2.5.
The company did refund the shipping costs after I contacted them about it.

A security strap holds the computer securely inside and a large pocket holds power cords or accessories. An outside pocket has spots for drives, disks or other needs.

Unfortunately, while I like the look and overall design of the bag, there is a substantial design defect with respect to the back straps. The lower anchor points for both straps have torn completely away.
