(More customer reviews)I am a dedicated traveller, not a wheelie bag toting, shorts wearing, fanny-pack fool like the idiots crowding the airports these days.
This bag is like travelling used to be: a little rough around the edges, you have to work at it (no wheels here) but in the end it is a truly beautiful thing.
I love getting this bag out of the overhead. I love the looks of the Tumi crowd as they get their black bags out and line up in uniform boredom like the ants they are. This is something special, it is well crafted, clearly imperfect because of the hand crafting but not low in quality. But most of all it is unique, unlike those balistic nylon wheelies which are just like their owners: common.
Well made, beautiful to look at, big pocket on the outside is very practical, strong handles and smooth zipper work well, lining is atttractive and relatively easy to clean if you have a toothpaste escape. Plus it shows you only pack what you can carry, like a proper traveller.
Pack up, stand up, and get going, it is a big world and I love having luggage that reflects who I am.
Enjoy this beautiful bag and go out and show the sheepish ones how to do it right.

(More customer reviews)Nice case, good price. Has 3 zippered compartments and a solid handle with a removable shoulder strap. Also, Amazon says it only fits up to a "15.6 inch widescreen" laptop, but that's wrong. Check Targus' website... it fits up to a 16" widescreen laptop. Also, I can tell you from personal experience that it fits my 16" Toshiba widescreen laptop perfectly. Overall, I'm very happy with this purchase.

Amaro 61007 Small Century Messenger Bag - Black Review

(More customer reviews)This is a decent messenger/day trip bag. It has a zipper at the top of the flap, making the flap a pocket and the same on the back of the bag. These are full sized and the only two zippered pockets accessible from the outside. as well there is a zippered "pouch" pocket under the flap on the front of the main compartment. This is where there are small organizer slots for small items (credit cards) and 3 or so pens. No clip for holding keys. The main compartment is zippered across the top and has another zippered "slot" on the inside back of the main compartment. It runs the whole width of the bag and most of the height of the inside. I will keep a small internet tablet (7" screen) in it but it isn't appropriate for even a netbook, I don't think. The zipper closing the main compartment requires both hands to open and close (minor issue). On the outside ends are a couple of pockets. One is canvas with a Velcro closure cover and the other is a small "stretch net" suitable for a small umbrella or a very small water bottle. The shoulder strap is wide and adjustable but doesn't swivel...it is sewn into the bag at end. The main flap cover is held closed by one plastic snap buckle....which is ok but I hope the flap lays flat during it's life. There is no handle across the top for easy grabbing, I'm going to add a simple one by having my seamstress sew a 1 inch wide handle of the same material the strap is made of. It will be attached at the top of the back panel as not to put pressure on the flap and provide better balance. There's about a 1 inch area that doesn't affect any of the pockets where it can be attached. I've missed having a handle. I'll also have a key clip added somewhere on the inside of the "pouch" pocket where the organizer is located.
All-in-all it is a decent bag which will hold enough stuff. I was able to comfortably get my mother's 11.6" screen (with extended battery) netbook into the main compartment (not in the inside back zippered slot) and there was plenty of room for computer accessories and a couple of small books. No padding. I really think that a price of $16.99 +/- is fair but anything much more is overpriced, in my opinion.

JanSport Flash Review

(More customer reviews)This is a great bag, and it's exactly what I expected it to be. I bought it for a 15" Macbook Pro, which fits comfortably. The bag provides enough protection to give me peace of mind while transporting my MBP, along with an assortment of ample storage pockets. I can fit the charger, a notebook, pens, blackberry, and a few software titles just fine. The great thing about the bag though, is that if you don't need all that storage space, the bag still looks relatively slim and compact. I'll chalk that up to intelligent design.
If my MBP was ever going to be off my person (say in an overhead bin on an airplane, or something) then I would definitely want more protection. But if you are just taking it to work or school, this bag is perfectly sufficient.
The construction of this bag is very solid, and while I've only had it for about 5 weeks now, I expect it to hold up for a long time. I had a similar JanSport laptop bag before this, and it prompted me to stick with a name I trust.
As far as aesthetics, I really like the look of the bag. It's not too casual and not too serious, just the right balance. I got the Sumo Green color, and it's an exact match to the product pictures. So, it's a shade of brown, despite the name. I was worried it would show up in a puke green color.
Overall, I am very happy. Great bag, ample storage, rugged design, attractive look, and the price is actually pretty good for the bag, in my opinion.

BROWN ITALIAN LEATHER DOCTOR BAG DUFFEL DUFFLE MADE IN ITALY (TLFC140229) Review

(More customer reviews)The bag is wonderful, spacious, and elegant. Very functional. I like it a lot and use it daily whether going to my office or home visits. People can smell the letter and realize that it is a classy item.
I bought the bigger bag thinking that it had a larger inside interior than the step down model but it has a separate double bottom, accessible from outside with a zipper. I did not mind that.
I gave it four stars only because of two observations. First, one of the screws on the handle comes loose every so often (I carry a small screw driver in the bag for on the spot tightening). Second, the upper closing metal device does not have a natural click. I have to turn the bag facing away from me to be able to close it with one hand. Otherwise, I have to use both hands to align and close it ( the main compartment). I am afraid that in time the metal teeth it uses will brake or lose the grip.
The anterior buckle (anterior pocket) is very practical and closes/opens smoothly. I wished they had used a similar mechanism for the main compartment.

Pacific Design The Evolution Collection Tote - Notebook carrying case Review
