(More customer reviews)As a frequent traveler, I ordered this item as a space- and weight-saving alternative to my trusty converter/adapter set. I received the item and promptly departed on a trip overseas. Thank goodness I took my old set as a back-up. The USB port on this item worked for a total of 1-2 minutes and hasn't worked since. I used it to adapt a european style outlet for my dual voltage laptop charger and after approximately five minutes, it began to hum and emit the odor of melting wires. Finally the fuse blew and I chucked the item in the bin. I would not recommend this product to anyone.
