(More customer reviews)After paying for excess weight on my bag at check-in numerous times---and having our old luggage break open not only on the baggage claim carousel--but also at AMTRAK check-in----I made the command decision that it was time to update. My criteria was quality-sturdy-lightweight -luggage. Price was not an issue--I was willing to pay more--if the value was there for me. I found exactly what I was looking for in the HEYS Quad series---I bought 2 sets (6 pieces) for approximately $900. They were originally priced at over $1k each (set)---a savings of approximately $1200. The only issue in the entire purchase was that I ordered the luggage in black--and one of the pieces (the carryon)--turned out to be silver. So we have 5 pieces in black--one silver---this is just attention to detail for the person who is putting the order together! We are very happy with the purchase and would recommend this to others--except I would add that people not wait as long as we did to replace our old, worn-out set!
