It also looks to be great for knocking around with, and throw in the wash. However I needed a bag big enough for notebooks and a laptop, a shopper TOTE. The dimensions were listed as 20 x 5 x 14". That 20" includes the handles. I measured it and it's actually 20"H x 13"W x 4"D. This is just a large purse.
