It works just about the same as your average black compact umbrella. I don't think it is any weaker than a totes but is more fun. You have to manually put it up and down, which is no problem. It also has a cover to match the umbrella.
Just be sure that when you use it, you remember the artist and the title because you will be asked by everyone!
