(More customer reviews)I got this bag for 1 purpose: to keep items in it that I would need in-flight that would fit under the seat in front of me. Snacks, reading materials, netbook, 7" dvd player, portable headphones, a book to read, and travel documents all fit in the bag and nicely fit under the seat in front. I also travel with a 22" carry-on convertible duffle bag and this extra piece helps to distribute the weight so that neither bag is too heavey to handle. Bear in mind that this bag is small, and unless you travel very light will not be your only carry-on. But, since you are allowed 1 carry-on, and 1 personal item this is perfect for that "personal item".
