(More customer reviews)I go thru bags about every 2 years. It's mostly the carrying handles the come apart and/or break. I could tell this one's top handle below the telescoping handle would last awhile since it doesn't slide in and out and rub against fabric that would eventually wear and rip. One minor problem with the outside bottom pouch, you have to bend a notebook's top edges to fit it under the zipper to get it in. The zippers need to be more squared off at the top to eliminate this. The inside feels luxurious. There was a small clear pouch on a single snap inside that hangs too far down if standing upright. It really needs 2 snaps on a shorter strap. It is really light when empty! a plus. Telescoping handle feels sturdy and wheels roll along nicely, although I would prefer quieter 'rubber' wheels when rolling across ceramic tile at the airport. But then, this also helps people hear me coming and they get outta the way. Fits in the overhead space perfectly, wheels in. Overall, I like this bag. I bought another one when it was on the closeout rack that sits in my closet ready to use whenever this one wears out. It is just cheaper to by them on sale than it is to repair them. The more expensive bags --$300 and up-- have lifetime warranties though. Victorinox were really eager to repair and/or send me a new bag on their "real" bags, not their cheaper cousin with just the "cross" on thier bags you find at Wal-Mart. It has to have the "cross on a shield".
