(More customer reviews)I was hopeful that this item would help me get comfortable and get rest on long airplane flights. Those U-shaped, hard travel pillows have never done it for me, especially as someone who is generally a face or side-sleeper. In theory, it looked like this product would be perfect for me. In practice, it was not so good.
On the plus side: the material is very soft and snuggly. I like the pocket on one side to wrap one's hands in to keep them warm. In partly blowing up the pillow to various extents, I was able to use it as a nice stomach, or, in some cases, as a side pillow (with either a willing/familiar seat partner, or if I had the seat next to me free). But it just didn't work for me as designed, fully inflated and for use on lap or table-tray. The main reason for this is the moment the person in front of me would lean their seat back, the space was far too cramped to use the pillow properly! So while it might work in first or business class, if you're stuck in coach for 10 hours, good luck to you.
That said, I'll still probably bring it with me on long flights to help improve my comfort somewhat. It's just not the perfect travel pillow I was hoping it would be.
