(More customer reviews)Lots of wind with sun and rain in Honolulu, Hawaii. I bought this umbrella as had been buying my wife one after the other due to breakage -- principally due to high wind. Paying a bit more for the well deigned umbrella, my wife is extremely happy as a daily user. The design allows wind to blow through the top preventing the umbrella from inverting. I expect that even with day-to-day use, it will last a long time. While slightly more in cost than discount store brands, you will make it up quickly by avoiding repeat purchases. Good job Eddie Bauer!
