(More customer reviews)The idea of this bag is great. Lightweight material, so it packs flat and doesn't add to the weight you're carrying. Three pockets for some organization, but it's mostly one big, no-frills compartment to stuff with whatever. It's big enough for a netbook or books, or to stuff a coat into. The side pockets for drink bottles are a nice bonus.
However, after two weeks it's absolutely falling apart. The attachment points where the strap clips onto the bag failed - one came off entirely, and the other is hanging by a thread. Some of the seams are also visibly stretched and on the verge of failing.
Here's what I had in it when it failed (this is the heaviest weight I had in it the whole time): cell phone, compact camera, wallet, keys, two craft books (one hardcover, one softcover, each around 200 pages). I'd estimate the total load to be around 10 pounds.
If you're just looking for something to shove a jacket in, this could be an okay bag. But if you want to carry even a moderate load, keep looking.
