(More customer reviews)First off, this isn't a backpack. This is a carry-on bag that you'd bring on the airplane with you. It has backpack straps attached to it and even a small backpack that zippers onto it but, it's no backpack and it's appearance and structure would immediately support that statement.
I've owned this and one other High Sierra bag for about a year and have traveled with them, primarily by air, about 2 dozen times - although I unzipped the smaller backpack thing seen in the photo of this product and threw it in the back of my closet.
This luggage is rugged and tough. I have no complaints with it.
