(More customer reviews)This tote STANK so badly of chemicals right out of the packaging that it made me gag. Mine arrived in the mail today and I'm airing it out and trying to use Febreeze to get the smell out. Not sure if it will work.
The quality is also VERY POOR. The hardware is extremely CHEAPLY constructed, as is the rest of the bag, including the straps. I doubt it will hold up to much use at all.
THIS BAG IS NOT, I REPEAT NOT, LEATHER! It's a poorly manufactured manmade material that is THIN and easy to tear. The liner is a cheap version of nylon type fabric, also easy to rip. If you buy this bag, don't expect to be able to put anything heavy in it or overpack it.
It is very large for a tote, but to me..the above negatives outweigh the size advantage. I don't even know if I'll be able to put clothing into it because of the horrific smell. I'm afraid it will ruin my clothes.
My advice, pass on this one and find something of better quality. Stay away from Embassy brand products!

The shipping was a bit iffy...It was in a plastic bag stuck inside a large gold envelope. The mail man delivered it with several rips and tears in the bag. I'm glad it didn't fall out and get lost.

I purchased the G.I. Type Brass Zipper Mechanics tool bag, Black on Amazon. It has sturdy handles and I like it very much. A tip that I would like to share is that I sort my cosmetics in clear sandwich zip lock bags, like 1 sandwich bag I would put my makeup brushes, and another I would put my mascaras, and so on. It works very well for me as a cosmetic bag.

CalPak Silver Lake 22" Duffle Review

(More customer reviews)This bag is perfect for my needs. Right size, good number of pockets, holds all my gym stuff together. However, the shoulder strap ripped out from the seam under the weight. I don't carry a lot of stuff in my bag: towel, shoes, socks, shirt, pants, tolietry bag...thats it. But appearentlly that's enough weight for the shoulder strap to give out on.
Its a fault with the design of the shoulder strap. Its held to the bag with a straight stich, instead of doing an X stich across a wider area of the strap, as is NORMALLY done with this type of material. Because of this fault the strap material frays from under the seam and eventually will just pull out.
I contacted the company for a replacement but they will only replace with an identical product, with the exact same defect, understandable but it doesn't solve the problem. I'm lucky to have a seamstress for a mother and she will stich the strap on correctly.
If you don't need the shoulder strap this is an awesome bag. I hope they correct this design flaw in a future edition, I would certainly purchase again if they did.

(More customer reviews)I love this bag! I got it for Christmas and haven't had a single problem with it. It's a great size for one person. The slim outer front pocked is a great place for a book (or in my case, my Kindle), and the end pockets are great places to keep toiletries. I usually use one for toiletries and the other for a large water bottle (32 oz) and my mp3 player. The main compartment has plenty of room for a couple sets of clothes, as well as my makeup bag and gym shoes. I've even used this bag a couple of times instead of a suitcase when I'm gone for 2-3 nights. The double handle is reasonably padded, as long as you aren't hauling a bowling ball, and the shoulder strap adjusts easily while still staying put. I'd even consider buying a second bag just for use as a substitute suitcase.

(More customer reviews)Was looking for a durable weatherproof duffel to replace a 12 year old Eddie Bauer. I was looking for a duffel with one large compartment. A good friend recommended the BD Huey Duffel. This bag is really well made. The stitching and seams are super tough. It has one main flap with heavy duty zippers running the length of the bag. The zippers are covered and provide great protection from wet conditions. The bag is not waterproof. But, it's as close to waterproof as a bag can be. It has a ton of configurations for the straps that can be used as a backpack or just a shoulder strap. It has about eight different attachment points for the straps. Webbing is crisscrossed over both ends of the bag providing another place to lift, pull, or attach whatever is needed. My only problem with the bag is the straps do tend to slide open if you grab it near the fasteners. It just makes them go from short to long (in a very short amount of time). Make sure and grab the shoulder pads to avoid this problem. Other than that it's a perfect gear bag and luggage bag.

Shoulder strap is comfortable and can be extended to be very long. I recently used it on a weekend trip and used the mesh net for odd ball toiletries that i didn't want leaking on my clothes. And fit enough clothes for my wife and I for the whole weekend. Great product.

OGIO All Terrain Pack Review

(More customer reviews)I have been using this Ogio bag for 3 months on a daily basis. Overall it is a fantastic gym bag with perfect compartment space:
-One zipper pocket has room for shoes, but there's also room in the pocket for socks, a belt and underwear if I want.
-The opposite side pocket is a the perfect size for my shower kit consisting of a body wash, shampoo, conditioner and a body sponge
-I use the front pocket to store my iPod and heart rate monitor. The front pocket has mesh storage, perfect for keeping a wallet, keys and cell phone.
-Center storage is good for a shirt and jeans as well as a shaving kit.
I admit I have no use for the special MP3 pocket. I really don't need to listen to music as I walk into and out of the gym, but I won't dock points for features I don't need.
My only complaints:
-I've pinched my hand in the plastic handle. It's much easier to open and close than those velcro enclosures, but exercise caution when carrying so you don't get pinched between the two sides of plastic.
-The bag is a little too wide for my locker, so I generally stand it up on end. Again, this one is me-centric, so I'm not docking stars, just FYI. If it was a little slimmer, it would be fantastic.
Despite my 2 minor complaints, I would not hesitate to buy this Ogio bag again. Quality construction and thoughtful design make this bag a good value.

Embassy 24 inch Brown Faux Leather Tote Bag Review

(More customer reviews)This bag is made in China with very cheap quality materials. It is NOT leather. It's made out of a very thin, easily tearable manmade fabric that REEKED of chemicals when I took it out of the packaging.
Since it's so poorly made, I don't expect it to withstand much use. It definitely would not withstand the riggors of airline baggage handling for very long so if a travel bag is what you're looking for, bypass this one at all costs otherwise you'll be wasting your money.
I would return mine, but it's not worth going through the hassle. Let's just say it was a lesson learned to stay away from Embassy brand products.

(More customer reviews)I was a little nervous about getting this bag since it was so cheap. Of course after adding the $10.99 S&H it wasn't all that cheap anymore, but still a good price. Mainly I just wanted a solid black gym bag so I could take my bodybuilding stuff with me while in my Army PT uniform and not be told I was out of regulation. It is definitely solid black and will work very well to maintain regulation standards. It is a very roomy bag and feels more durable than I thought it would. The clips that hold the shoulder strap to the bag are plastic, so we'll have to see how long they last. All-in-all a good buy for me.
