It didn't offer as many length adjustment settings as I thought it would. I would not pay over $30 for this bag if I were to have seen it in person.

(More customer reviews)This tote STANK so badly of chemicals right out of the packaging that it made me gag. Mine arrived in the mail today and I'm airing it out and trying to use Febreeze to get the smell out. Not sure if it will work.
The quality is also VERY POOR. The hardware is extremely CHEAPLY constructed, as is the rest of the bag, including the straps. I doubt it will hold up to much use at all.
THIS BAG IS NOT, I REPEAT NOT, LEATHER! It's a poorly manufactured manmade material that is THIN and easy to tear. The liner is a cheap version of nylon type fabric, also easy to rip. If you buy this bag, don't expect to be able to put anything heavy in it or overpack it.
It is very large for a tote, but to me..the above negatives outweigh the size advantage. I don't even know if I'll be able to put clothing into it because of the horrific smell. I'm afraid it will ruin my clothes.
My advice, pass on this one and find something of better quality. Stay away from Embassy brand products!

(More customer reviews)Great product. Looks simple but stylish and professional. Leather has a nice soft feel to it, stitching etc. looks high quality. Handles are a good length to fit over the shoulder, and don't dig in.
This isn't a huge bag, so large laptop and lots of files might get awkward. But perfect if you aren't always hauling lots of stuff.
Could use just a few more internal pockets for pens and phones and ... which is the only reason for not giving a full five.
FYI, doesn't have an internal laptop sleeve if that is important to you.
But a great workbag.

(More customer reviews)This is what I call my 'Firkin', due to its undeniable similarity to the much more costly designer version by Hermes. Since I couldn't yet afford the real deal, this seemed like a wonderful alternative. Although I was a little hesitant in getting it as I wasn't familiar with the brand's standard of quality, I have been very happy with my purchase so far (bought it about a month ago) and get many compliments on the color (Cognac) and design.
The bag is roomy and can fit plenty of items, including letter-sized notebooks and folders without getting them bent. I like the sturdy base, as the bag doesn't sink down even if it is heavy and always remains well-supported. One thing that I wish I knew how to fix is that a few days after buying it, the bag began to flop over the front when I set it on the ground and no longer stands up straight. A minor quirk but I am worried that the leather might start to crease. The leather quality is good for its price, a little shiny but not noticeable. The straps are holding up well and I especially love the classy buckle lock detail.
For its price, this is certainly an elegant and well-crafted bag.

Even though it comes with a crossbody strap, it doesn't seem to be made for it, the handles are stiff and will not lay down too well when it is attached.
