Totes Mens Heated Ice Scraper Review

Totes Mens Heated Ice Scraper
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
I had a gift certificate and needed a new ice scraper after my favorite one, complete with attached cozy, warm glove lost it's edge. This was the biggest waste of someone else's money. The heater does absolutely nothing to melt snow or ice, and even if it did, you'd have to leave it plugged in (after heating it up for several minutes) while in use, therefore keeping the interior of your car from warming up while your doors are open. Once I discovered this was just a good idea and not well designed, I decided to use it as just a scraper. Well, you can't detach the cord, so it's extremely awkward to scrape while keeping the cord and plug from getting in the way. The topper was this morning, when the scraper edge broke off completely! I've only used it maybe 3 times. This thing blows!
I'm going back to search for another plain old, nothing too fancy scraper with glove attached!

Perfect Solutions Easy Reach Electric Windshield Scraper, Black Review

Perfect Solutions Easy Reach Electric Windshield Scraper, Black
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
The day I really needed this product it let me down. There was a thick coating of ice on my front and back windshield and while I let my car warm up with the rear defroster on, I attempted to remove the ice from the front windshield with this device. The electric part that is supposed to melt the ice is shielded from actually touching the ice and I understand the rationale for this. However, it is SO shielded that it doesn't get close enough to the ice to do anything! After a few wasted minutes in the cold and wind, I gave up and started chipping at the iceberg the old fashioned way. Don't waste your money.

Travelon Gel Seat Cushion Review

Travelon Gel Seat Cushion

I couldn't tell whether there was gel or not in this pad. It was stiff, hard as board, and uncomfortable, definitely not cushy. The chemical fumes emanating from the pad just about knocked me over. Made overseas where they are not mindful that such quality is not acceptable. Quickly bagged up and returning. Waste of my shipping costs for the experience.

Eagle Creek Travel Gear Deluxe Security Belt Review

Eagle Creek Travel Gear Deluxe Security Belt
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
I spent two months wearing this belt every day, so I feel as though I can effectively comment on the usefulness of the product. I am an individual with a fine boned frame and small hips, so my comments will be directed towards that. Further, I am in the age group where female pants never come near the navel, so is also affects my review. This was a good purchase, and no matter which country I was in, with family or in a hostel, I always wore this belt.
PROS
*Great way to keep all important documents in one SAFE place
*Zippered pockets (and mesh dividers) made it easier to divide items
*Had enough room for over $1,500 in cash in varying currencies in bills and coins(so, different weights, thicknesses, and sizes), in addition to my passport, security badge, and 6 cards (credit, ID, insurance), and transportation/tourist function passes
*Material is lightweight
*Item is sturdy and well-built, feels like it will last...and it made it through two months of constant use and still looks new
*I was able to wear it 24 hours/day for two months and had no allergic reactions/adverse side-effects
CONS
*Sticking your hands down your pants to grab money isn't the most attractive or inconspicuous thing to do
*In crowded areas, it can be a hassle to actually get to the items because the money belt is under clothes. Arguably, this is why it IS safe, but I certainly had some weird looks while seemingly fishing in my pants for my money...especially noticeable when in line at busy venue
*Very difficult for women to wear, especially those of us who don't wear pants that come to the waist or loose fitting pants...not the most convenient thing to wear
*Maybe due to my body type, but this slipped down a lot and put a lot of pressure on my abdomen, I adjusted it throughout the day to no avail
*Must be placed carefully, otherwise bending is restricted depending on where your body naturally folds
*Can be irritating to maneuver around when using the restroom...pull it up, or down with pants? No matter which I chose, it was awkward and the buckle popped off quite a few times (and one time almost swung right into the toilet) and this is especially noticeable if carrying lots of coins, as I was
Overall, I recommend this for anyone traveling anywhere (I was in a country with lower crime rates than the USA), including theme parks. I work in an airport and have seen all sorts of odd contraptions for important documents, and still believe this money belt to be the best choice. As happy as I am to no longer wear the thing, the fact that I was able to put up with it for two straight months while hiking through cities and mountains is a testament to the comfort, durability, and safety, and would purchase again/recommend to others.

Eagle Creek Travel Gear Neck Pouch Review

Eagle Creek Travel Gear Neck Pouch
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
I bought my pouch two years ago and like it so much that I use it everyday instead of carrying a bulky purse or wallet. Money, credit cards, and other small items (eyedrops, chapstick, etc.) are always within hand's reach, making it much more convenient than a wallet. After two years of constant use, it's held up extraordinarily well. The only issue is the velcro is starting to get a little "soft" and doesn't seal as well as it used to.

Eagle Creek UnderCover™ Security Wallet Review

Eagle Creek UnderCoverandtrade; Security Wallet
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
This fall I chose to study abroad, but I was worried about how I was going to carry my money with me. Since Italy is filled with pickpocketers and gypsies, yes gypsies, probably the worst pickpockets around, I had to make sure my money and other personal items were safe. The undercover security wallet is ideal for traveling and studying abroad. It is very lightweight and flexible so it forms to your body. I would like to say that you can't even tell that you're wearing it, but that would be a lie. This does not create a problem because it gives the sense of it still being there ensuring your money's safety. You still feel like you're wearing it, but for the most part it fits under any type of clothing and is hardly noticeable. My advice is to wear it around your waist, pulling the cord tighter and then put it inside your pants rather than wearing it around your neck. That way it is out of reach and is "on your person" at all times. Just make sure to not carry things you don't need with you because this will make it less bulky. Overall, this is a good product and I am so glad that I bought. Makes me feel safer knowing that someone cannot get my money or credit cards without going down my pants. I recommend to all travellers.
