It's expensive, but it lasts. This (carry-on) size piece is perfect for the serious business traveller and I bought it as a companion to its bigger brother, which I have used constantly for ten years. Tumi have a luggage registration system for their products, which helps the tracing of the luggage back to you if it is lost.
I like the fact that it is not overly ostentatious. It doesn't scream "steal me". But it is certainly smart enough that you are not embarrassed to be seen with it.
Tumi isn't cheap, but their products will last at least twice as long as Samsonite (I was a Samsonite user before). It's basically a flawless business workhorse.
