(More customer reviews)I'm pretty happy with this bag. I use it for work every day and it holds my PC, files and my planner and ipod. If you think it will hold a change of clothes, it's not going to happen. It's difficult to get to the back of the bag where the clothes are supposed to go. Still, it rolls pretty well and is comfortable to drag or use as a spinner.

It was easy to spot on the carousel to retreive it from the flight. What is don't like at all is: After this one trip, the case is very scuffed. I don't know if any of the marks can be removed. It lost is new look very quickly.

(More customer reviews)The black spinner is a decent piece of luggage. Has all the advantages of a samnsonite spinner. Drawbacks: it is on the heavy side (which you notice when there are stairs); it comes without a lock; the handle is not very practical; the inside lining is not a pretty as some other samsonites (such as my blue Xion). Otherwise, all is well. I hope this samsonite's wheels will last longer than the ones of the Xion, which I am about to get exchanged for a second time in three years. (!!)

Altman Luggage does not have anymore NXT 4.0 30 suitcases. They sent me a NXT 5.0 instead, without asking if I wanted the substitution. I did not.
Altman Luggage was very nice about the situation and they did send me a free return UPS postage label.
But that does not help me to get a NXT 4.0 suitcase by Christmas. Now I am going to have to pay expidieted shipping from another company, assuming I can even find an actual NXT 4.0...
So buyer Beware.

(More customer reviews)We used this suitcase only once, but it worked very well with plenty of room to fit large things like snorkel fins and fishing poles and still stay within size requirements. One flaw is that I do not believe the "weight tester" is accurate; it seems to show overweight when it was not. But, I didn't even know it came with that feature when I purchased it. Overall, I am very satisfied so far.

Heys Xcase Exotic Spinner Set Review

(More customer reviews)I purchased this set about 2 months ago and have already used it several times on business trips and will use it again in a few weeks for vacation. It is very distinctive. I can find it easily on the baggage claim carosels in the airports and have even been able to see it being loaded on the plans. I get compliments on it all the time. It is very durable and cleans up well. I banged a bag against the wall and it dented on impact but bounced back immediately. I wipe the bags down with regular kitchen cleaner after every trip and although there is is some surface scratching, grease from the airport equipment comes off easily and there is no permanent staining. The bags are roomy, although the smallest bag in the set is small for a carry on and the middle sized bag is too big for carry on but otherwise the set is well worth the price. It's a great set!

Hideo Wakamatsu Jelly Bean 19" Carry-On Sky Blue Review

(More customer reviews)The Jelly Bean trolley might just be the perfect carry on. This isn't the sort of luggage you want if you like a lot of pockets and little places to put your sundries, as it only has one thin pocket set between the two compartments (though there's enough room in this for toiletries if you're not flying). But don't let the size fool you; if you roll up clothing (folding takes up more room), there's enough room in this thing for a week's worth of clothes if you're going someplace reasonably sunny and you don't need a different pair of pants every day. It's practically cavernous if you're only going for a weekend.
It's feels awfully well-made; the extendable handle seems like it could be more sturdy, but that's my only complaint. The material on the inside is soft and seems durable, and the mesh compartment enclosure and the straps also seem like they'll hold up. The outside zipper seems pretty tough, and the little TSA-approved lock is quite handy. The rollers are perfectly made; they're quiet and glide easily, allowing you to roll it down a plane's aisle without any trouble.
Note that the case does seem to attract its fair share of bruises during travel; if you're flying on a regional jet, it'll often get taken away for jet-side pick-up, and that's how mine picked up a few blemishes. These clean off pretty easily, though, and the material itself won't break. The color is bright and unusual; I certainly didn't see anybody else with luggage this colorful in my travels.
In other words, this comes highly recommended; if they come back in stock, snap one up!

(More customer reviews)After an absolutely horrible experience with the Samsonite X'ion 2 Spinner Tote 16", I turned to this bag, which solves the main problem -- instability -- of the other one.
The tradeoff is that it has a good deal less packing space, perhaps because of the configuration. It also has a laptop sleeve which is entirely useless for someone like me who carries a good laptop bag (Brenthaven Pro 15.4-17 Shoulder Case for MacBook Pro and Powerbook 15.4-17" - this thing is really wonderful, down to the zippers).
I doubt that this bag will work for long because of the lightweight zippers, but for now it's adequate.

(More customer reviews)This is a large bag! I purchased this suitcase for a 15 day trip to Europe where we would have no chance to do laundry. It was great. I packed my husbands clothes in this bag as they were heavier than mine. The bag was not full and all the clothes fell to the bottom of the bag each day. The bag was full with our purchases and his dirty clothes when we returned home and it was still under the weight limit. If not for the weight limit of 50lbs. by the air lines, we could have gotten all our clothes in this one bag for this trip. I rolled all our clothes with tissue paper and they came out of the bag looking great even on the last day. It rolled great and stood up fine with the support legs on the front (unlike others we have had that fell over if they were packed full)and was a pleasure to deal with on a daily basis. We did not use the outside pockets or the extension, but I think if the bag were packed full so the clothes can't move and the pockets were used, it would be very heavy to pick up...just because of its size. It is very lightweight by itself. I will purchase a smaller size of this same bag for our next trip. Very happy but do wish I would have bought a smaller version of this bag.

Samsonite Graviton 22" Hardside Spinner Review

(More customer reviews)Bought the suitcase less than a year ago, after being atracted to it's seemingly good looks and what appeared to a resilient case material. After 3 trips, the handle mechanism to eject the handle itself, broke and would not eject. After some prying to try and losen it up (the case is useless if you can't use the handle) it broke.
I called SAMSONITE up, and sufferred what I consider probably the worst customer service experience of my life, beyond even the BS you put up with when dealing with wireless service providers. (ATT, Sprint, Verizon etc.) In a nutshel, they couldn't give a damn about their customers.
BOTTOM LINE: Samsonite will not replace the case, will not fix it, will not return my money. My only alternative was to send it to a "authorized repair center" that is charging me $100 to fix it, notwithstanding the fact that have had my case for over 2 months now waiting for the parts.
Furthermore: Upon lengthy discussions with this "authorized repair", various pictures of damaged Graviton models which clearly indicate failure of the actual shell material to withstand impact. These cases were also completely denied replacement or repair by Samsonite.
Please note. The Graviton is a very new Samsonite item. None of these cases have more than 2 years of use.
SHAME ON SAMSONITE !!!
I WILL NEVER PURCHASE A YOUR PRODUCTS EVER AGAIN AND WILL OUT OF MY WAY TO MAKE SURE OTHER CONSUMERS UNDERSTAND WHAT A TERRIBLE COMPANY YOU ARE AND HOW LOW QUALITY YOUR PRODUCTS ARE !!!!

(More customer reviews)I already own a complete set of Delsey Helium luggage. I purchased this 29 inch-er so that I would have two matching "suiters" for an upcoming trip. Since it will be a three week trip, I wanted to have one for both me and my wife. This piece is mostly identical to the one I already own. I am quite happy with the Delsey Helium line. The handles are sturdy; the wheels are, also, and they're replaceable with in-line skate wheels. The various compartments and storage features are logical. We've been on several trips with our other Delsey pieces, and they're holding up very well, so I expect the same from this new piece. that's why I'm a repeat customer for Delsey.
