You have plenty of space for accessories or even a pajamas and a travel size bag with toiletry, in case you have to spend a night somewhere if you missed the next flight. You don't have to use an usual carry on anymore. It is light, small and very easy to roll it along. I regret I didn't order two of them, and the price is unbeatable. I recommend it to anyone who is traveling on an airplane, or even across the town or just to your neighbor.

(More customer reviews)Just what I wanted! It even fit under the seat on most planes. Even with my bad back I could lift up when it had to go in an overhead bin. The only negative was having to unfasten straps to get in, but I just left them undone--they don't get in the way. I liked it so much I have purchased the large 25" size suitcase. We have used the Eagle Creek folding boards for years, and love them. Thank you, Eagle Creek!

Travelon Wheeled Underseat Carry-On With Back-Up Bag Review

(More customer reviews)I have just returned from a 3 1/2 week overseas trip. Before leaving, I purchased this bag as a replacement for a carry-on without wheels which I was tired of lugging around airports. The Travelon certainly solved that problem. It was easy to wheel, rather light, and fit nicely into the overhead plane compartment. The fact that the main zippers open almost all the way make it easy to reach the contents.

However, there was a downside. Packing space and the division of that space are issues. The sloped design at the top means the reduction of packing space. In addition, I would prefer to use packing space in my own way without the restriction of divisions (such as pockets)put in by the manufacturers. One of the two zipper compartments on the front is primarily for show. It holds virtually nothing except, perhaps, a plane ticket.
As to appearance, the faux look of patten leather isn't really convincing.

Laptop area is pretty padded as I was concerned that my computer might get damaged. That was not the case. The inside is a little small, but it is supposed to be a carry on. Would recommend if you want something practical but if you are looking to get the most storage out of your carry on I would look elsewhere.

(More customer reviews)I purchased this tote for an extended trip abroad. I was impressed with the organization, lots of pockets, and the smaller size fit perfectly in the overhead bin. I noticed the main zipper began to catch on the binding of the tote itself. The zipper would stick, the tape would stretch out and the problem became increasingly worse. I was in Europe and had no way to return the tote to Amazon before the end of the 30 day grace period. When I returned home, I shipped the tote to Eagle Creek for repair or replacement under the lifetime warranty. I wanted to keep the tote because it was the perfect carry on. Eagle Creek promptly shipped me a brand new tote. Any company can have a defective product slip through quality control. It is their excellent service that keeps me buying Eagle Creek products. The matching piece of luggage I purchased at the same time performed flawlessly.

And it is easy to wehhel and small enough to carry on the plane and light enough to be possible for me. I first saw it when my son lent his to me one weekend - and liked it so well that I bought one for myself. I am very satisfied - the only thing I would like to see changed is the color - there is only one choice and itis gray, not a very appeling color. But the product is great. I wanted to give it 5 stars but could not do it on my computer because the colors did not show up - but consider this a 5-start rating.

Outside pocket makes it easy to access book or ereader, ipod, airline tix, snacks,etc during the flight without even having to take whole bag out from under seat. Two separate main compartments have double zippers, can hold plenty of clothes, toiletries etc and each compartment has large zipper pocket for anything you want to keep separate. Wheels and handle are sturdy. We have two of these. Simply the best. Highly recommend.

There were only a few items in the bag, yet the clothes compartment zipper came apart before I got to the airport! Rezipped several times - zipper came open each time. Rather stressful having one's underwear on display at the airport & taxi stand. Even 1/4 full it is too large for under the seat. On the return trip I checked the empty bag with its opened zipper. Returned it & got my money back. Other sites have reviews that cite the same problem.
