(More customer reviews)I bought the chocolate version of this as a gift for my wife, who is a high school volleyball coach. I really liked the layout of the pockets, which is the primary reason I purchased this padfolio. When it arrived, I found that the leather was soft and the construction was sound.
My wife used it this past volleyball season, and found that there was plenty of room to put her various forms and stat sheets along with her cell phone, a calculator, etc.
In summary, this padfolio is of exceptional quality and I liked the layout of the pockets. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a good quality padfolio.

I was looking for a binder for my planner that did NOT have a myriad of pockets and holders on the inside cover. I also wanted one that had a larger capacity than the organizers that I always see at the "big box" office supply stores. Considering the look and performance of this binder so far, it is a MUCH better value than the usual fare offered in stores-especially when you consider the fact that I won't have to 5 or 7-hole punch everything I put in it!

It is versatile, with the pockets and 3 ring binder. It is slightly smaller than his old one, however, so doesn't hold quite as much. That's a plus in my opinion - he was carrying around stuff he hadn't touched in years :-)

Incredibly well padded, i have a strong sense of security when i put this in my backpack along with all my books as i ride around campus on a bike. However the appeal of a macbook laptop to me, is that it it is very thin which allows me extra space in my backpack. When i put my 15in Macbook pro into the case, it becomes maybe about 1.5 inch thick. I am still very satisfied with the this case, i think it looks very sleek and nice, and i like the velcro vs zipper closing.
All of the product related stuff aside, I bought from Adorama camera and they advertised a new MacCase premium leather 15in sleeve. Whether the product was truly new or not I can not be sure of. When I opened the shipping box, the MacCase box that it would normally come in was essentially ripped as if it had been previously opened. Upon examining the case, I found a very large bend in the back of it, due to the fact that the case packaging looks opened and used, i cannot confirm whether or not the case naturally has the crease, but i am betting it doesn't, so in short, do not buy from ADORAMA CAMERA!

There are many to choose from at Amazon, and the downside is that you can't touch the items to make a decision. I recognized the name "Johnston & Murphy," I own some of their shoes. Based on my limited knowledge of the brand, I thought the quality would be good.
When the package arrived, it was heavily wrapped. I opened the box within a box and was happily surprised to see JUST HOW NICE this item was. The pad has an exterior pocket on the back (it wasn't pictured) that could accommodate additional paperwork or a file. The stitching is heavy, materials are nice and it's very well made. After handling the item, I was surprised it wasn't more expensive.
It seems durable and certainly has a sharp appearance, suitable for any meeting or professional appointments.

After one day of use the stitching at the top of the bag that connected the upper loop and the arm straps started ripping apart. By the end of the day one end of the loop was completely detached. I did not put the bag under undue stress or overpack it with too much stuff. Needless to say, I returned it immediately for a full refund. The quality of workmanship was clearly unacceptable.

It is a very heavy and durable bag and really good looking on top of it.
