(More customer reviews)I bought the chocolate version of this as a gift for my wife, who is a high school volleyball coach. I really liked the layout of the pockets, which is the primary reason I purchased this padfolio. When it arrived, I found that the leather was soft and the construction was sound.
My wife used it this past volleyball season, and found that there was plenty of room to put her various forms and stat sheets along with her cell phone, a calculator, etc.
In summary, this padfolio is of exceptional quality and I liked the layout of the pockets. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a good quality padfolio.

(More customer reviews)I bought this to replace an older portfolio case of my husband's that was ruined when his office was flooded. The new one looks very nice, and the leather is high quality. It is versatile, with the pockets and 3 ring binder. It is slightly smaller than his old one, however, so doesn't hold quite as much. That's a plus in my opinion - he was carrying around stuff he hadn't touched in years :-)

There are many to choose from at Amazon, and the downside is that you can't touch the items to make a decision. I recognized the name "Johnston & Murphy," I own some of their shoes. Based on my limited knowledge of the brand, I thought the quality would be good.
When the package arrived, it was heavily wrapped. I opened the box within a box and was happily surprised to see JUST HOW NICE this item was. The pad has an exterior pocket on the back (it wasn't pictured) that could accommodate additional paperwork or a file. The stitching is heavy, materials are nice and it's very well made. After handling the item, I was surprised it wasn't more expensive.
It seems durable and certainly has a sharp appearance, suitable for any meeting or professional appointments.

(More customer reviews)Nice portfolio. Would have liked to have had a side loop for the pen. I bought a tan portfolio a couple of weeks earlier, and it had the pen loop. The black one did not. You have to put a pen in the inside center slot. This makes it difficult to close, and you need a very slim pen.
