(More customer reviews)I bought the XL version of this bag back for my 17" Mac notebook five (maybe more?) years ago, and I've been very happy both with the bag itself and with the service from BBP.
I often carry quite a bit in the bag, both in terms of computer equipment and books/papers/whatnot. The backpack mode allows me to do this comfortably, as opposed to single-strap bags, which inevitably lead to upper-back pain.
It's great for cycling.
It's got tons of pockets, so I can actually organize and quickly find all the cables, adapters, pencils, pens, papers, etc. that I carry.
When one of the clips failed after many years of heavy service, BBP helpfully replaced the clips with metal ones...meaning the bag is probably going to last another five years, at least.
Really, the only complaint that I can raise is a trivial one: carrying a pack on your lower back looks dorky...but if that bothers you, put it back in messenger-bag mode!
