(More customer reviews)I didn't bought this hydration pack on Amazon, but it was so hard to find reviews, that I'm writing this one.
This pack is VERY good. Hydrapak bladder has the best reviews all around. Very easy to clean (something kind of hard with other brands). 3L/100 oz is the best size, if you don't need that much, simply don't fill it up to the top.
The pack is very light and comfortable to wear. This pack weight as little as many packs that have even a third of the gear cargo volume. So you can use this pack either empty (there is no big weight penalty) or full (it's huge for a hydration pack)
The 4 straps make it easy the compress the pack so you can used it without things flying around when not full.
The material is nice, the build quality seems nice.
Every strap has either velcro or an elastic band so there is loose cord bothering.
So here are my 2 complaints
a. The bladder/pack hanging clip seems like a joke. I don't think is durable, is a plastic piece that's neither attach to the bladder nor to the pack. It may break some day or may gest lost. Probably you can figure out in the future some home fix for this, but you shouldn't! Is not at all a deal breaker, remember that this bladder is rated in a lot of websites as the best bladder in the market now days. Much better than camelbaks!
b. My other complaint, is that although the pack is BIG, and it has a lot of pockets and comparments, every "subcomparment" seems to me too small
For example there is no obvius holder for a air pump. You may either use the side pocket, or the main pocket, or maybe carry a CO2 pump. But although there are 2 PEN comparments, I would trade then for a pump one any day!
I end up using always the side pockets too much or keeping to many things in the main compartment laying around and haven't find too much use for the many subdivisions inside the pack! Maybe is the things that I carry, maybe it's my fault.
Overall this is a very good pack, just keep an eye on this 2 thing that I mention above.
