For around 10 bucks this strap pad is a must have! The two main benefits of this pad are it's grippy texture, which keeps your bag from sliding around on certain jackets, and thick comfy foam that makes the heaviest bags feel 10x better than the standard pad that comes with Timbuk2 bags. It's nice to have both to change depending on your load.

A lovechild of Timbuk2's Classic and Tough-Tek strap pads, the Gripster strap pad is guaranteed to keep you comfortable whether you're trekking to work, the gym, or just around the block. The Gripster features a Griptex surface on the bottom, helping it grip your shoulders with extra stickiness. That means the cozy shoulder pad won't move around, giving it even more wont-slide-off-your-shoulder-feel-good protection. Made of durable ballistic nylon, the Gripster includes a heavy-duty Velcro attachment that fits all standard Timbuk2 straps. The Gripster measures 12 inches long by 2.5 inches wide.
About Timbuk2 Born in a San Francisco garage and bred on the backs of messengers in the city streets, Timbuk2 still manufactures its custom bags in the heart of San Francisco's Mission District.
