I ordered this item and ended up returning it because it didn't work for me. Why? I have a lot of requirements: I was looking for a bag like this to hold my laptop, books, wallet, phone, etc, every day. Because of my line of work, I need to carry a lot with me to various places throughout the day (in NYC, so I don't have a car to store these things in). On top of that, I want something that looks decent and professional enough (otherwise I'd just carry a backpack). This bag is a great color and I love the leather. The problem is, the size and shape just don't work. The bag is too bulky and cumbersome to carry comfortably, even when empty. I thought the "vertical" shape might be easier to carry, but it really wasn't. I guess there's a reason most laptop bags are "horizontal."
If your needs are similar to mine, I'd recommend looking at SOLO brand laptop bags. I found the all leather "SOLO Laptop Carryall" on clearance in a store, and it is large enough to hold/organize everything I need while at the same time not too big to carry on a packed subway car.
