(More customer reviews)I bought this to go to Venice and other cities in Italy. I knew I would be using vaporetti, buses, trains, etc. and didn't want to struggle with the bigger rolling duffle I usually use. First I bought another lightweight case but it had rounded corners and several internal dividers which significantly reduced the space available. I returned it and bought this case because it has the the most packing space of any that I saw. For a four week trip to Italy I used this and a medium backpack and was able to manage everything I needed, plus a few things I bought along the way. It was terrific. I thought it might be too thin to withstand airline handling, but it wasn't. Two things of which you should be aware. First, the handle is wide because it fits on the outside to provide more space inside. This means other carry bags will have to be adapted to fit on top if you are stacking. And the handle doesn't lock into the upright position - thought that might be a problem but it wasn't. Second, the wheels are small so it scrapes a bit when you pull it over rough cobblestones. But, I am still giving it a five and am going to buy the 20 in carry on.
