(More customer reviews)The bag arrived quickly and shipping was free - all of which is great. But the 60 bucks that I spent on this bag was not nearly worth it. The color was bright and cheery in pastel baby-blue (to counter-act my usually cloudy demeanor) and the material is that kind of waterproof nylon/plastic type material, all of which felt kind of diaper bag-ish to me. None of that really bothered me (even being a non-mother) because the bag was roomy and nice for all the travel that I do. Probably the only criticism I would have about the utility of the bag is that it would be nice if it had more inside pockets to organize my more precious and easily misplaced goods.
The biggest problem I have with the bag is with the handles. The handles are this probably faux leather material. I travel a lot and often carry heavier items like laptops in bags like these and within the first use, the handle had basically disintegrated. All over. There were flecks of the peeling handle all over my shoulders from lugging this around town. Basically what's left is a shell of a handle, which I could probably duct-tape up to replace - duct-tape on your person being the best way, of course, to make a professional and out-together impression, right? Now that the bag is damaged, I can't return it. What the heck good is a carry-all if it falls apart the first time I try to, you know, carry it all in my over-sized shoulder bag?
There are less expensive carry-alls that I ferreted out on Amazon prior to this purchase. I chose this one because I incorrectly assumed that more expensive equaled higher quality. Sadly that was not the case with this bag. If you need something durable and able to carry heavier loads of 20 pounds or more, this wouldn't be the bag for you. But it's probably delightful as a diaper bag.
