(More customer reviews)I just purchased this bag and I was very looking forward to it. But I am disappointed with it now. I bought the Ahoy pattern, which straps look more like dark/chocolate brown in the picture. I'd like to have a brownish bag because it will go well with most of my clothes. I also compared the Ahoy one with the black one to make sure it is not black. However, the actual color of the straps is BLACK, totally. I can't find it any brown under different lights. Very disappointed.
There is another issue.
The size is smaller than what I expected. It is said like these:

Made in ChinaThe actual product is smaller than 17"x11"x5". The actual dimension is 16"(top length)/13"(bottom length) x11"(height). The zipper length is the same as the bottom one. So IT IS BARELY THE LENGTH OF A MACBOOK. If you, like me, intend to use this bag to carry your laptop and letter size documents, just go to find another one! It is very annoying to put your laptop or documents vertically into the bag and turn it around (and do the reverse when you want to take them out.)
I really don't want to make all the fuzz to return shipped stuff. I always tried to find some reason to keep what I bought no matter how much I didn't feel so right. But this time, I think I will return it back.

LeSportsac Madison Large Three-Zip Cross-Body Review

(More customer reviews)I like this bag; I bought it because I am having some back troubles and wanted to get the lightest purse possible. The first thing I noticed is the quality; the fabric just feels good in your hands, and all of the seams seem strong and sturdy. The seatbelt-style strap is very well made and can go from shoulder strap length to cross body in two seconds. The main pocket fits my giant water bottle and if I tried, I could get my breakfast and lunch tupperwares in there too. You can fit a lot of stuff in this thing. But anyway, the key is that it's really light, and it's hands-free.
Cons-
I gave the bag 4 stars for two reasons. One, I really miss that internal little pocket that most purses have. I guess since they gave us two pockets on the outside, they thought we wouldn't need a third on the inside. Two, the top zipper is a little funny, because the end of one side of the zipper is not sewn into the bag. I'm not sure why they did this. It's not really a dealbreaker.
Anyway if you are traveling, or really busy, or at an amusement park or something, this is a really good bag. Seems pretty washable too.

(More customer reviews)My favorite type of handbags have two hand straps and an optional shoulder strap. I was thrilled when I saw this purse finally released in the shiny black. Not only was the shiny black material waterproof, but it also doesn't pick up stains that easily, such as sunscreen smears.
This handbag comes with a small separate zipper pouch, but the handbag itself doesn't have a small pouch in the main compartment, so I sewed in the provided small pouch into the main section to keep my wallet in.
I use this handbag for baseball games and everywhere casual.
In the smallest outside pouches, I put keys and rolled up reusable bags.
In the second smallest outside pouches, I put my cell phone, Kleenex, and pen/paper.
In the main compartment, I put my wallet, toiletry bag, baseball cap, gloves.
I love this purse. I definitely would buy another one of this same again if needed.
If you don't like rummaging through your purse, this is a bag that can keep you organized.
Maybe I'm high maintenance, but I wouldn't be able to use this handbag ALONE to pack for a weekend. Make sure to check the measurements carefully... hopefully lesportsac.com has the measurements...? I'd agree that the name "weekender" is misleading. This bag is not a duffle bag at all. This handbag is more like a roomy, collapsible satchel.
