(More customer reviews)I purchased this item in black (also comes in brown) as a gift for my "impossible to buy for, incredibly picky" uncle. He hadn't had a wallet for 2 years because he just didn't want to go through the "breaking in" process he has experienced in the past.
He was thrilled to receive it. It is thin, flexible. high quality leather and has plenty of space. He especiallly loved the removable card case. The quality is even better than I expected and it is quite beautiful.
I was a little leary of purchasing from a company outside Amazon and had not heard of this vendor before but the item was beautiful and on time! I know sometimes people buy a wallet as a "cop out" gift, but this one is not a cop out!

(More customer reviews)When I first opened this wallet it was quite stiff, but I could tell it was quality leather. What surprised me was, even brand new with all my stuff in it, it is very thin. I barely notice it at all in my pocket. After two weeks it has gotten a nice warm color to it and become quite supple. Most importantly I think the stitching is tight enough and the leather quality high enough that I think it will last for quite awhile.

I was very pleased with the quality and now having owned it a month I can attest that it should last for a very long time. Next, the two currency areas are very welcome. It makes it easy to put receipts in one and bills in another. Also, it has plenty of room for credit cards, business cards and other necessities. All this room, however, makes it a big wallet to be a front pocket wallet. While the dimensions were given, I found myself surprised when it arrived. It's almost as big as some traditional 3 fold rear pocket wallets. I had been used to carrying a business card size front pocket wallet with an external money clip. I had measured the dimension of this wallet verses my old one and thought it would be only slightly larger. It is, but that slightly larger makes a big difference in your pocket. For me, I've found I can live with it. There's still room for this wallet and a small cell phone in the same pocket. However, if you like to wear snug jeans, this wallet could take up too much real estate. Conversely, if you wear loose khakis or relaxed fit jeans or you sometimes put your wallet in your inside coat pocket, this is an excellent wallet in terms of holding a lot in a reasonable size.

(More customer reviews)Bought mine in San Francisco, circa 1995; going strong, stitching intact, too. even went through a machine wash cycle and held its shape and did not suffer any ill-effect. Expensive but worth it...the color is perfect; thought I lost mine...and found it sold through Amazon; wow, it's more than I paid for it originally, NOW...but, I found it celebration...on two parts...I don't have to buy a new one, because I found my original card case and all contents...AND, I know where I can buy another if need be; it's only money after all...
I ordered an alligator card case on EBay; it's not as robust as this one; but it's also only ~1/2 the cost of this one, too. it just came, today and it's not as thick as the Trafalgar Alligator leather.
