(More customer reviews)I just received my case in the mail today, and overall I would say that I am happy with it. I have not tested out the drop or scratch resistance of it (nor do I plan to), but you can tell just by looking at it that it is quite solidly built, and should provide an extra degree of protection for your investment.
There are, however, a few things that should be noted for anybody considering buying this product. First of all, the color is slightly off. I ordered the Army Green version, and while it still looks very good, the actual color is darker than what is shown in the pictures. Also, the matte rubber finish on the case tends to smudge pretty easily. It's not quite as bad as a high-gloss screen or anything, but it is noticeable and took me a little by surprise. Finally, and this is probably the most important thing to note, the case gives the illusion of adding a few extra pounds to your computer. While it does not weigh all that much by itself, when the case is put on the computer it adds an extra degree of girth to the Macbook, which somehow makes it feel significantly heavier. It's weird and I don't really get it, but it is noticeable.
All in all, though, this is a good case for the money. I think. I've never owned another case for any other computer, but I would imagine that they would all have problems similar to this. So if you can get past the problems that I have listed, which are admittedly superficial, then I would highly recommend getting this case for your Macbook Pro.
