(More customer reviews)After much research, I bought this bag for a series of interviews all over the country. I felt it was better to invest in a bag then pay all those fees for checked luggage. This served its role admirably - my suit and shirts arrived in good condition, I could always fit it easily as a carry-on bag, and there was enough room for clothes, etc. The zippers and other materials are of good quality, and the bag rolls easily. At first use the extended handle seemed a bit 'shaky' but I never had a problem with it, even given my tendency to sort of slam the bag around in airports and whatnot. The two separate compartments are helpful for organization and quick access. Having made it through a dozen trips in two months, I fully expect it to be a valuable and useful purchase for years to come.
One point - the inside clasp for securing garments does better with slim hangers, rather than the standard sort-of wide plastic ones... especially if you want to put 3 or 4 hangers in there and have it latch fully closed.

(More customer reviews)I do a ton of 1-2 night trips for work, and was in need of a new carry on sized garment bag. This bag is very well constructed, and felt like it could take a beating without too much trouble. The color was a nice change from the standard black, and the zippers were high grade. My only problem with it was that it was surprisingly small. My perfect bag would hold 2 suits, a few shirts, a pair of dress shoes, and a few random things. No such luck with this bag.
So if you plan on travelling with less than what I just listed, then this will be a great bag for you, otherwise, I'd look around for some other options.

Boyt Mach 5 24" Expandable Glider Review

(More customer reviews)I have the previous version of this bag, the Mach 4. When it was sold to me about 5 years ago, it had the same warranty as is on the Mach 5. I used the bag occasionally, but not on every trip I took. I did have to have a handle replaced once, and Boyt covered it. I recently had an issue with a zipper, and I called Boyt again. The person I spoke to (around January of this year) said that not only did they not offer that warranty on the luggage, but she was pretty condescending saying no one covered a bag for as long as I had mine for damage to a zipper.
The bag IS a nice bag, though a bit heavy (four stars for just the bag), but buyer beware on the warranty (Which they advertise heavily as a feature of the bag, hence the lower rating). If that is why you are buying this bag, don't expect to have repairs covered like Boyt claims. I used to tell everyone about my Boyt bag. I still do, but now it is to let them know how they didn't honor thier promise.

Travelpro Crew 8 22 Inch Expandable Rollaboard Suiter Review

(More customer reviews)I am a frequent traveler and carry-on whenever possible. My go-to bag was a 24" Victorinox. Like all of my Victorinox bags, this failed on my last trip leaving with the need to replace it on short notice. I went online and read reviews on many bags and Travelpro kept coming up as a good affordable option. I currently have a large Travelpro bag and I'm happy with it so I figured I would give the smaller version a try so i purchased on my Prime account with overnight delivery. The bag arrived as advertised and the quality was better than I could imagine.
My first observation was that this 22" bag was expandable so I could "sneak" a couple extra days worth of clothes into an overhead approved bag. I did so on my first trip out. I was amazed that the bag still fit into the overhead wheels first. As any traveler knows, this makes finding a space for your bag much easier than.
Another observations was the substantial feel of the handle. This was the part on my Victorinox that failed so it was important to me that the handle be able to support the weight of my backpack resting up against it. The bag also rolled freely over carpet, tile and asphalt. It was very easy to move around. And it stood straight even when expanded.
I have to say that one of my favorite surprises is the water bottle holder. This simple zip-out compartment easily folds a standard 16 to 24 ounce water bottle making it accessible when you need it. A great feature for sure!
All in all I'd have to say that I[m thrilled with the bag. I think I paid under $140 delivered. I stopped into Dillards the other day and teh same bag there was $400. Amazon came through yet again!
