(More customer reviews)I was looking for a classy-looking, professional, SMALL, sleek, pared-down portfolio that is attractive and would carry everything I need to meetings. This portfolio is all that and is working well for me. The color is good, it is well constructed, and has several zippered-compartments and sections that are handy as well, more compartments than I'll ever need to use.
-The main inside body has a black striped (silk?) lining and that section is large enough for legal-sized files.
-On the outside, one side is sleek, with no compartments.
-On the other side, there are 2 half-portfolio-sized zippered-compartments. One would hold items that are half the height but the length of a legal file. Note: The zipper 'pull' has a very elegant, classy look, as does the entire portfolio.
-On the top of that side, is another zippered compartment, curved at the top corners, and it easily holds 8-1/2 x 11 sized documents, although legal-sized might also fit in there as well, but not as easily.
-Inside that compartment there is a place for credit-card-sized items and pen and pencil slots, kind of a unique idea. There's also a zippered area above the credit card compartment which is just a little larger than credit card size.
I keep mine packed full of files and documents and it is serving me well.
If I had to find a negative it would be that I probably could have done as well with a letter-sized portfolio rather than the legal size, if I had been able to find one as sleek as this one. This is an excellent product and good value.
