(More customer reviews)This is roomy and didn't eat up a big chunk of my suitcase. I was able to fit at least 5 shirts rolled up in each side for at least 10 ladies shirts. The zippers and construction seem sturdy enough that it should last for years. It's also nice that the mesh allows you to see the contents easily. I believe one side is completely mesh the other is about 4/5 mesh.
The benefit of any packing bag like this is that your clothes and items don't fall out of the suitcase when it is opened - especially if you have a clam shell style suitcase. Which should help ensure that if the TSA opens your bag, you won't have clothing damaged by being caught in the sides of the bag. I think it also makes it easier for your bags to be x-rayed and less likely to be opened by TSA since the clothing is nice and neat, therefore easier for them to determine the contents of your bag.
Another benefit is when you have to live out of your suitcase. It's definitely a lot easier to deal with these bags then shuffle through a suitcase with the clothing laid into it.
