We just returned from our trip to Italy (Jan 1 to Jan 12 2010), and the Veloce Travel pack was very functional, an easy to manage size and light. There were plenty of compartments to stay organized and we particularly liked the zipped one on the inside flap for our travel documents. It just made you feel safer knowing that it was just that bit harder to get to by any unauthorized hands!
It comfortably stored a DSL camera, lens, umbrella and guide books. We probably packed a maximum of 14 pounds into it.
The most unfortunate issue we had was the handle started to rip during one of our 3 flights on our Italy vacation. Then on the return flight, one side completely broke off as I was pulling it from the overhead cabin. I hope this was just an isolated issue as we really liked the bag.
Update: Jan 31 2010 - customer service was fantastic, I asked for a replacement and it arrived promptly. I suspect the handle was not sewn on properly. In any case, we looked around before asking for a replacement and we still wanted this bag.
