Eagle Creek makes great travel accessories - they're thoughtfully designed and built to survive in the real world. I carried the predecessor to this wallet for about 7 years, until the velcro stopped being functional, so I ordered the new model. It's just as well made and handy as the old one, and I don't mind knowing I'll have to replace it someday for the same reason. The first one survived being dunked in various trout streams and managed to handle all my essentials on a daily basis throughout its life, and if not for the velcro issue, would still ride in my pocket daily. It holds my credit cards, insurance cards, IDs, pictures of my kids, cash, and fishing and hunting licenses with aplomb, and I use the zipper compartment for a spare house key and car key. The little rubber insert on the outside keeps it from moving around in my pocket and makes it harder for the bad guys to lift it easily, which puts it points ahead of the leather ones. However, due to its tri-fold design, it wouldn't be a good choice if you're one of those fellows who carries around two months' worth of receipts and a wad of cash.
