(More customer reviews)I saw this in a big chain store and liked the way it looked so decided to check whether Amazon carried it and didn't hesitate to buy it when I saw it here. At that time, I purchased the product directly from Amazon. I do a lot of walking and had been carrying my laptop in a big old daypack which didn't carry the weight very well. I was looking at new daypacks and laptop sleeves and found this product which combined both.
The removable sleeve is a perfect fit for my 15.6" Toshiba and I've walked a couple miles at a time with it in this pack and felt no strain from the weight--the pack keeps the laptop close against your back, but the sleeve, back of the pack, and shoulder straps are all well padded. The pack looks good in black with a touch of grey and feels quite durable to me.
In addition to the laptop compartment, which has some leftover room to fit in magazines or papers, there are six more zippered compartments reachable from the outside of the pack, two large, one medium, and three small. The second largest compartment has a non-removable divider for most of its height, and the next largest has more interior compartments and holders. You can either be very organized with this pack, or you might forget which section you put items in.
I do wish the bag were a little larger, but that's only because I'm in the habit of using my daypack to go grocery shopping. This has ample room for anyone using it for travel or school, and saved me a lot of money over the other options I was considering.
