(More customer reviews)I just took this scale on a trip to Bali with the idea that this portable luggage scale would be the end of my luggage weight issues etc. Unfortunately, this product over-estimates (either direction would be bad of course!) by about 15%, which is a HUGE number given the tight restrictions there are on weight limits on overseas flights. Also, I might add that I am a strong guy and when I carefully picked up a suitcase that weighed about 50 lbs....this scale completely fell apart. Not good. It says it is rated for 75 lbs. Obviously this rating was set for lunar gravity and not for Earth. Overall, I am VERY DISAPPOINTED in this product.
****Recommendation for alternate/superior product***
A fellow traveler in Bali had another portable luggage scale made by Balanzza http://www.balanzza.com/ that was everything this scale was not (1) sturdy and (2)accurate.
