It is also rubber backed for an element of waterproofing. The handle retracts nicely, and the rubber wheels are wonderful when you have a heavy load.
The size of this pack is a huge plus. It will hold and enormous amount of clothing/gear and this is especially important these days, because the Airlines are charging for extra bags. This large bag allows you to only check one bag, thus saving you money. Yet, it is big enough to hold the equivalent of what may fit into two typical suitcases. This assumes, one suitcase is the larger size and the other is a mid or smaller size.
So, I say this bag is a winner for many reasons. Choose the color that suits you, and bon voyage!
