They are the maximum size allowable by United Airlines without getting oversize charges and the lightest that I could find to avoid overweight charges. They were used to fly to and from a cruise and held up well. One exception is the clasp on the compression straps inside the luggage. One broke the first time that it was used and there does not seem to be any way to replace it. The blue color is attractive and stood out from other luggage on the flight carousels. There are only two wheels and they do not pivot but another, more expensive, piece of Atlantic luggage that I used did have pivoting wheels and they were smaller and, consequently, got caught in gaps such as are found in elevators between the building floor and the elevator floor. The ones on this luggage didn't.
