(More customer reviews)I use a wheelchair and wanted a way to be able to carry my own luggage on short trips. I needed a bag that would hang from the handles of my chair without hitting the wheels. This tote easily holds 2-3 days clothes. I searched the internet for days to find a large tote that was not open top.This tote is large, 1500 cu in and closes very securely. Because it is flat and only 6.5 in deep it easily scans in security.It's north-south shape allows you to occupy a smaller "foot print" in comparison to the usual east-west bag making it easier walk through crowds. For those of us who need it, the north-south orientation allows it to hang between the wheels on an ultralight wheelchair or perhaps some strollers. This tote would also be great for a shopping tote although probably not ideal for groceries. The photos made it attractive but in real life it is even better. The material is very sleek and with the leather trim it is very sophisticated. While it was expensive, with the Hartmann quality and warranty I am confident that this bag will serve for a great long while. I could not be happier.
