(More customer reviews)Traveling with small containers and putting them all in a zip-lock baggie usually means something will leak and you end up washing everything at your destination. I'm really surprised it has taken so long to invent these little life-savers.
GoToobs are soft, translucent, silicone bottles that hold up to (2) two ounces of fluid (Available in 1.2 fl. oz., 2 fl. oz. and 3 fl. oz.). They are BPA-free, safe for foods and hold anything you can think of carrying. They also don't leak or drip and are easy to clean (dishwasher safe too). They even have a suction cup on the back to attach to shower walls.
Now the price is a little expensive, but considering that these will probably last a long time, they are well worth it. I personally like the slip-free feel of them and the ability to label them with a black marker. When I recently went through that wonderful experience of TSA, it was fun to watch the look on the face of the guy who inspected my bag. I'm sure it makes their job easier too and I know he won't 'touch my junk'. This is a great product that will last me many trips.

eBags 3-1-1 Nalgene Travel Bottle Kit Review

(More customer reviews)I have the large kit along with one other Nalgene travel bottle and they worked perfectly in my Eagle Creek toiletry kit. I filled them with shampoo, conditioner, combo body wash/shave gel, and some of the smaller bottles I used for hair product like gel, cream, etc. The quality is great and I have had NO problems with leakage or anything. They also hold quite a bit. I used these for a 5 week trip and then later a 2 week trip. With careful use, I didn't need anymore shampoo/conditioner than was in the bottles.
The only thing you should know is that several of the bottles are 4 oz. So they are not good for taking in a carry-on bag. However they are the best choice for packing them in your suitcase, using the smaller bottles in your carry-on, or using them as pill bottles. This includes several different types of tops, including screw-on ones and flip-top/squeeze ones, and you can switch many of the tops.
EDIT: Here is the listing of sizes from the Nalgene website.
- Bottle w/Red cap is 1 ounce
- Square bottle w/Blue cap is 2 ounces (same size as the bottle w/white cap)
- Rectangular bottle w/Green cap is 4 ounces
- The next two bottles are 4 ounces, perfect for shampoo and conditioner
- The white dispensing caps will fit on all the bottles in the kit (except for the 1/2 ounce)
- The square bottle is 2 ounces, its the same as the bottle w/blue cap
- The bigger jar is 2 ounces
- The last jar is 1 ounce
I carried these to Russia and back, on a backpacking trip, and on another 2 week trip. STILL no leakages and this is still the perfect combo with my Eagle Creek kit!

Humangear GoToob Go Toob 3oz Silicone Travel Bottle-PBA Free Review

(More customer reviews)Traveling at least once a month internationally (long haul) and often once a month domestic in the US I have jokingly said that JFK has a turnstile devoted to me. It is kind of scary when you recognise some of the TSA officers... which means I have a travel kit of my toiletries always on standby. A few months ago I saw a tube and decided to give one a try. I FELL HARD. They fill easily, never had any kind of leak/spill, and I love them. I have bought a few extra and doubt I will use anything else. Sure the little suction cup isn't always strong enough, but that is not why I am head over heels for these travel tubes. I don't have to replace any more toiletries bottles, I can easily fill the gotoob without it getting messy and I wont ever go back :)

GoToob is the best I've found - very flexible, easy to fill and dispense product. I've also never had a 'blowout' in my shave case where a bottle has accidentally opened as a result of the baggage gorillas tossing my luggage all over the place. Definitely a must buy and I've recommended to all my friends and colleagues.

Humangear GoToob 2 Ounce (3 pack) Travel Bottle Review

(More customer reviews)I bought these for the purpose of transporting oil & vinegar dressing to and from work. I've been using them now for 3 months, 5 days a week and they DO NOT LEAK. Ever. However, the little "hinge" that the cap snaps on and off is very brittle and breaks easily. It has broken on 2 of the bottles but I can still use them because they snap on pretty good. It's too bad though because other than that they'd be perfect! The material is very very soft and allows you to get everything out when you squeeze. Also, when the lid is off you can turn it upside down and as long as you don't squeeze nothing will come out - due to the valve like mechanism. I would definitely buy these again... and probably will buy some more for travel.

(More customer reviews)When i received my 3 pack of 3 oz bottles, the main thing i tested was whether they would be leak proof as promised. So i put in some water into the bottle and squeezed the bottle before screwing back on the cap and closing the cap to see if the bottle would retain just the little amount of air I gave it. (I find this a useful technique so that when air pressure expands the things in the bottle the bottles won't explode making my bag messy.) Surprisingly, the bottle expanded to it's original size after i stopped squeezing it which worried me because that meant that air could still get back into the gotoob bottles while the bottles were closed and therefore, the bottles might not be leak proof. However, when i shook the bottle, nothing came out so so far it was leakproof. Next I started squeezing the bottle fairly hard while it was closed to mimic the pressure that the bottles would suffer from while in my luggage when i go traveling. The bottle held up fine but the liquid came out just a little bit, but not enough that it would soak my bag. I was a little disappointed but i used it on a weekend vacation anyways to further test it out.
I used 2 bottles for a creamy shampoo and a creamy body soap and I used 1 of the bottles for a face cleanser with a very watery consistency until shaken. Just for extra precaution i put the bottle that held the watery facial cleanser in a ziplock bag in case it leaked. I then packed my duffel bag quite tightly. After taking the 3 gotoob bottles out during my vacation and after the vacation was over, I noticed that the two bottles with the creamy and thick liquids held up fine and did not leak at all. However, the bottle with the watery liquid made my ziplock bag slightly wet and foamy. Therefore, these gotoob bottles hold up really well for thicker products such as creams, lotions, probably gels. However, for products that have the consistency of water, if there is a lot of pressure on that bottle while it is closed, it can potentially leak.
Overall, I really like these bottles because they feel really nice, I don't worry about dropping them while showering because they're very easy to grip, and they are very flexible when dispensing the liquid inside of them versus the other hard travel bottles that I have bought in the past. I just put the bottle with the watery liquid in a separate ziplock bag just in case it leaks while traveling in my luggage.

Eagle Creek Travel Accessories Pack-It Travel Bottle Set Review

(More customer reviews)Compared to previous purchases of bottles, this set is above average in quality. The plastic is softer and more pliable, making it easier to squeeze the product out. I have little use yet for the pill boxes, since I have a separate medicine bag, but the other items have out-performed the isolated bottles I've picked up in the past at Walmsrt or travel stores.
The various descriptions of this item are contradictory and inaccurate. I don't know what vials the description refers to, nor the reusable bag. I received neither. My package included ONLY four bottles, 2 pill boxes and labels.
One unforeseen benefit is that it took significant effort to get off the glue residue from product labels on the bottles I had previously bought at a store. These bottles, being part of a set, do not have individual labels, so no glue residue!
The labels are a nice touch, but I prefer to simply write on the bottle with a Sharpie.

3-1-1 Totally Compliant Carry-on Kit Review

(More customer reviews)Great product! This kit is one of the best of its kind for carrying liquids and gels I've found and I've tried several. You can fit a lot in a small space because the tubes can be staggered (one pointed up and another pointed down) when packing them in a toiletry bag. Although lightweight and easy to handle and use, the tubes and sprayer are all tough, leakproof, and can take a lot of punishment protecting both their contents and the inside of your travel bag.
Personally, I haven't found filling the tubes at all difficult. The included `Receiver Caps' (for the empty tube you are filling) and the variety of sizes of `Dispensing Nozzles' (to screw onto full bottles you are filling from) make it a snap to transfer contents from one container to another. Just expel the air and hold the tube folded in half and release it as it fills with the cream or gel. Unscrew the Receiver Cap, replace it with the regular cap, and you're good to go! I only had to use the included syringe for a couple of products: one that came in a very large bottle, and another that came with an oddly shaped closure that I had to cut off to keep open. With a little practice, it is easy to get the hang of it.
I keep two identical sets of containers: one set in quart bags ready for travel, and the others in bathroom cabinets for regular home use. When I empty a container, I refill it with fresh product and swap it with a full container in the travel kit. That way all containers are filled with fresh cream or gel and there is never a need to prepare a kit for travel. It is always ready!
