(More customer reviews)I am mind boggled that a fairly expensive and seemingly well made product such as this wasn't tested before marketing to see if the clasps actually held the briefcase closed. THEY DON'T. They are cheaply made - particularly in comparison to the rest of the case - and do not hold the case closed when there is anything as heavy as laptop in it. It is absolutely infuriating to not be able to use the handle at all, and only be able to use the shoulder strap in the 'lightest' of situations, without the bag spilling open. Buckles, straps, latches - anyting would have been more effective than these clasps. Think twice before you get this product. I'm needing to find a leatherworker or cobbler who can add buckles and straps to mine, to save it from being utterly useless.

The bag is roomy enough for everything I need to carry, even though it's smaller than my last briefcase. It's also lighter weight, which is easier on my shoulder when carrying it longer distances. It fits right in, whether I'm in a meeting at City Hall, attending a seminar at the Banker's Club or just carrying my stuff home from work.

It's big enough for my 13.3 inch laptop, can hold bigger ones. Strong, comfortable and safe (nice cushions). Only thing I don't like much is the bright color. (More customer reviews)The look of this bag really appealed to me it is a really sharp looking bag. Functionality wise, I think they could have made some improvements without effecting the cost very much.
The buckles and straps for both the front and back compartments are mainly decorative, there is no way to adjust them without modifications. There is plenty of expansion room in the compartments themselves but if you put too much stuff in them the buckles won't snap, defeating the expansion of the compartments. I don't always need the extra room, but when I do need to stuff a few extra things in the bag it is nice to know it will be secure.
To remedy this problem I took the bag to a local cobbler and had him modify it. He added two holes to each of the front buckle straps and installed two magnetic clasps to the ends of the decorative straps on the rear of the bag. This allows both compartments to be secured when at full capacity. The price of the modification was $12 and makes the bag much more versatile and doesn't impact the look.
Other than that, I really like the bag. I'm finding it a bit difficult to organize all the various electronic gadgets I carry with me, but there would be no way to remedy that without making the bag more bulky and that would defeat its style.
