(More customer reviews)Of all his Christmas gifts, this is the one he seems to enjoy the most. He puts toys in it and drags it all over the house. It is the first toy he shows off (although it wasn't meant to be a toy). Since he travels a lot (to visit us) he is very familiar with rolling suitcases, so having one of his own was bound to be a thrill, but I was unprepared and delighted for just how much of a thrill it was.
From the point of view of quality, it seems like a well-built (stitching, materials, design) product. The decorations are delightful, there is plenty of space for a week-end's worth of toddler clothes, a couple of small toys, a separate area for snacks--well thought out. Size would fit under an airline seat and it's light-weight and manageable for a two-year old.
Durability promises to be above-average in a situation in which the suitcase will not be subjected to harsh airline handling (I would not check it in). It is probably not designed to be played with constantly, but it has been for almost a week and seems no worse for wear. Since the wheels are enclosed, I'm not sure exactly how durable they will prove to be, so far so good, but that will probably be the Achille's tendon of this product.
However, given the reception this one got, I'd order an exact replacement if something happened to it.
