(More customer reviews)It did take a little while to get this item, but how much of that was Christmas delivery issues is uncertain. The tote was durable and decently constructed. The image on the tote was a simple thick heat-transfer iron-on who's longevity and stability has yet to be fully seen. The image appliqué is a lot thicker than I was expecting, and part of me was expecting a more screen-printed direct-to-fabric look and feel to it.
This is something that could be made at your dining room table, so the specialness is really in the thought you put into it and the uniqueness over it being high-quality or professionally executed. If this is the same transfer system used on their apparel that the company advertises, I can't imagine it would be comfortable or not look home-craft, but for a tote bag it works fine.
Again, there is no real complaint about it, and it is accurately described, but there is also nothing about it that rises above expectations, and it seems a bit "crafty" when you see it. My friend for whom it was a gift seemed very pleased and liked it, so what more should it be than well-accepted?
