(More customer reviews)The good: I got it for $45 which is about half of what it normally seems to run. It is 3lb 12oz, which for a bag this big is pretty good. you will be hard pressed to find another bag in the same size range under 4lb. Side mesh will hold 2 - 32oz bottles on each side and compression strap is in just the right place to secure them with a carabiner. Big open main compartment swallows a lot of gear. I was just starting out backpacking when I got this pack so my gear was not light or small. I also like the small mesh pocket. I found it easy to adjust the suspension.
The bad: I am a big guy and the way the straps are made the padding does not go far enough down the strap. The webbing tends to cut into me. I also think the sternum strap is a bit high and have rigged up a second sternum/gut strap that helps. Again I am a big guy, a smaller person would most likely not have this problem. It is taking me a while to get the fit right, but as I said I am new to back packing and this is my first pack. It could be I am just figuring out where it needs to be.
Summary: The price and weight are great, but fit on a bigger person may not be.
