(More customer reviews)I purchased this bag for a June trip to Washington DC. I expected to use it primarily to put my metal items, keys, coins, watch, etc while going through airport security. Last time I flew I forgot a small coin in my pocket and they put me in a GLASS cage (barefoot) waiting to be wanded and cleared. Did not want to go through that again. Wife is still laughing. Anyway I just put the bag in the basket and no problems going through security. What I did not expect was to carry this bag everywhere with me in DC. All the federal buildings have Airport type screen so I found leaving everything in the bag helped me get through all the security. Also the large front zippered pocket was the perfect size to carry the "Eyewitness Top 10 Travel Guide" book. Top 10 Washington DC (Eyewitness Top 10 Travel Guides) We referred often to this guide while trying to make sense of the DC Metro subway system. The bag was small but was mighty handy. It is also easy to change it from a carry bag to a "fanny pack" style bag. Easy to shorten the strips to make it fit around your middle. I am not a skinny person, could bearly snap on the airplane seat belt. Anyway, Just a geat little bag, oh, used the very small front zippered front pocket for the DC Metro card and the inside zippered pockect for extra cash. Well thought out and a very useful bag.
