This bag has more features, durability, and class than any carry-on I have every seen around me. I fly over 150 flights a year. This bag is great for one-day trips, and I will take it as my only bag if I'm only going to be gone one night. It has the extra room.
All the pockets and all the extras (hooks, magnetic catches, inner zippers) are brilliant and make it easier to both travel and to focus. On top of this Gold Medal functionality, it also looks really sharp. Every time I see it -- whether pulling it from underneath the airplane seat in front of me, opening it in a hotel, or pushing it back into my closet at home -- it makes me smile.
As for it being lost or ripped off as my DC buddy had warned, knock on wood. I've take this on 1000 flights and to work on many of the intervening days, and I've had no rip-offs yet. But even it vanished tomorrow, it will have been worth it while it lasted. I'd buy another within a week.
