(More customer reviews)I've had this briefcase for about a month now. It's held up perfectly so far. The closure mechanisms are not buckles, but clips behind the buckles. It's been roomy enough to put a palm pilot, pens, and multiple files with papers. The leather looks great and it's very light. The shoulder strap is also comfortable. Assuming it contiues to hold up for a reasonable length of time, I'd buy this product again. One note: If you are looking to store a laptop in this briefcase, I'd think twice. It's not as large as most laptop briefcases and definately does not have adequate padding in my opinion. But for carrying documents, books and other items, it has met all my expectations.
