(More customer reviews)About ten years ago I picked up one of these at Heathrow, and used it daily for a 70 day trip, and then some more at home until it finally wore through. The bag then was made of a stiff canvas-like polyester that held it`s shape and looked great even with little in it. Very Matte, not too thin and without the sheen of inexpensive thin nylon.
Not remembering the name of the company I searched for a replacement in vain until seeing them online recently.
Excited, I immediately bought 2 of them and am VERY dissapointed. The pattern and design is identical, BUT Design Go changed the material to a thin cheap-looking nylon that does not hold it shape at all, and looks shiny. For example, if you put a camera in in, the whole bag sags around the camera. The new fabric means that the bag needs to be full to hold it`s shape and look like a pack.
I am incredibly irritated and dissapointed by the change, and do not reccomend this product at all. Hopefully Design Go will go back to the canvas-like material... they still use it on many of their other folding travel-bags.
