(More customer reviews)I was pleasantly surprised by all the pockets and compartments. I bought this as a gift for my 10 year old niece, hoping it will take her through much of middle school. It looks durable enough that I think it will. The only disappointment is that the shade of blue of the real item is not as bright as the picture shows, its a darker blue, not so bright. And as with all backpacks with many pockets, its little on the heavy side, definitely not lightweight. This is a good collegiate product because of separate laptop divider inside the main compartment, and because of all the pockets.

Decided to purchase one for my husband in black--mine is lime--when his other bag fell apart. Plenty of room for everything you need for a weekend away or several weeks away.

(More customer reviews)I am an Anuschka fan - the products are beautiful to look at and beautifully made. They ought to last many years with proper care. Not for the timid or faint of heart - they will be noticed and you will be noticed. This is a large bag. I prefer the much smaller flap bags for every day use. This will be for when I know I am going to purchase something bulky or need to bring something sizable with me. The colors and details are wonderful!

(More customer reviews)All the details of this bag are gorgeous and sturdy. I especially like the hardware on the bottom and sides, and the striped lining on the inside.
I bought this as a weekend bag but just tried to use it as a carry-on and it was a little too big to fit under the seat in front of me, however, it fit in the overhead compartment.
It's a great bag, I highly recommend it!
Correction: This weekend, the hardware that supports the shoulder strap broke. I am trying to return the bag and hope this was a one-time defect and the next one will hold up.

CalPak Field Pak 20" Light Weight Review

(More customer reviews)I bought this bag in an airport gift shop during a layover between connecting flights. The bag's seam along one of the top zippers tore the very same day I bought it while I was getting my connecting flight. I did not overstuff the bag or subject it to anything other than the normal wear and tear one would expect going through airport security. I wrote to the company and was asked to submit pictures of the damage, which I did. I was told they would replace the bag under warranty but only if I sent in a $10 processing fee and paid for shipping to the company. This is outrageous. For that money, I just as well go out and buy a new bag, especially if they are going to send a replacement that is just as faulty. I was reading reviews of this bag on another e-retailers website and two other people reported having the same problem (although theirs tore a few months after purchase, rather than the same day). Don't be deceived by this bag's appearance of being high quality and well designed.
