(More customer reviews)First off - this 40" is HUGE. It's ideal for storing a lot of items securely. I wouldn't use it to carry items anyway simply because it is so large. However, if you do have to move it, don't worry about it breaking. The handles and material are all very heavy duty.
This is far too large for a plane check in but it would fit comfortably in the back of a car for comping, etc. Or it can be used for storage in an attic and protect your items from dust, etc.
In all, I'm pleased with the bag and it has stored a big jumble of loose items (including some sharp items) without breaking or tearing.
